Andrea Franchetti, who died at the end of 2021, is one of the fathers of the quality revolution on Etna. He left us a series of impressive, highly individual, profound and complex volcanic wines, which alone would be worthwhile to deal intensively with this currently perhaps most exciting wine region of Italy.
