The Munich ZS-Verlag publishing house has surprisingly ended the publication of the wine and restaurant guide Gault&Millau. Instead, it now wants to cooperate with the restaurant, hotel and gourmet guide Gusto, the publisher announced.

"For the planned digital reorganisation of the Gault&Millau brand, we lacked the expected support from the international side over the three years," the press release states. Together with the Gusto editorial team, the aim is to expand the "Guide to the leading brand for culinary enjoyment". The print and digital offerings are to be expanded and newly developed. The first completely revised guide will be published as a book in autumn 2020.

Whether and how things will continue for the German editions of Gault&Millau is not yet known.
