The European biodynamic winegrowers' association respekt-BIODYN has four new members. From Austria they are the wineries Ebner-Ebenauer and Schödl in the Weinviertel as well as Diwald am Wagram, while from Germany the winery Schnaitmann**** has joined the group of winemakers. The first respekt-certified wine of the newly admitted wineries will be that of the 2024 vintage. Until then, they are considered "respekt member in conversion". The association, founded in 2007 and based in Austria, now counts 36 wineries in Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia, cultivating around 1,150 hectares of vineyards.

"Growth is not our goal. If we invite winemakers to join us, it is because they are great people with impressive wines. Then we are welcome to grow. We are very happy about the new members enriching us", said the chairman of the association, Michael Goëss-Enzenberg from the Manincor winery in South Tyrol.
