On 1 July, the Freyburg-Unstrut winegrowers' association becomes the new "Official Supplier" of the RB Leipzig football club. In future, white and rosé wines from the winegrowers' association will be served in the hospitality area of the Red Bull Arena for the club's home games. "Many members of our cooperative are not only passionate winemakers but also enthusiastic football fans," says Hans Albrecht Zieger, Managing Director of the Winegrowers' Association.
For example, many winegrowers on the Saale and Unstrut rivers are always present live in the stadium during the matches of RB Leipzig. "The path of RB Leipzig inspires other companies in the region to want to compete with the best. This inspiration is one of the main reasons why we want to become an "Official Supplier"," says Hans Albrecht Zieger, explaining the partnership,
