The trade fair Wine Paris lists more than 5,000 exhibitors on its website. As of January 14, 2025, there were 5,094. This could mean it surpasses ProWein in the number of exhibitors for the first time. Just in November, Wine Paris reported 4,600 exhibitors from 50 countries. The organizers currently expect around 50,000 trade visitors from 140 countries. Notably, there is an increase in the number of exhibitors from countries like Germany (+65%), Austria (+35%), China (+60%), Spain (+40%), and Romania (+75%). Italy has once again doubled its exhibition space and will present 30 regional pavilions in its own hall this time. For the first time, countries like South Africa, Argentina, Armenia, Chile, Hungary, North Macedonia, Uruguay, and Australia will also be represented with joint stands.
At the same time, 3,291 exhibitors were listed on the ProWein website. In the record year 2019, there were 6,900, and the previous year there were still 5,326. According to an inquiry from wein.plus, Messe Düsseldorf, as the organizer, expects "around 5,000 exhibitors from about 65 countries." The fact that approximately 71 percent fewer producers from France are exhibiting compared to 2019 is less surprising than the decline from Austria (-81%), Italy (-62%), and Germany (-39%). Although the official registration deadline for ProWein ended on June 30, 2024, online registration is still possible. Wine Paris is also still accepting registrations on its website.
Wine Paris will take place from February 10 to 12, and ProWein from March 16 to 18, 2025.
