The winery Schloss Rattey in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern connects wine, art, and music history this summer. The occasion is the 60th anniversary of the Beatles album "Revolver," the cover of which was designed by the German graphic designer and musician Klaus Voormann. From August 1 to 16, the winery dedicates the exhibition "Leg.end without end" to the band's long-time companion.

Voormann worked as a bassist for John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. For Schloss Rattey, he has now specially designed the label of a wine from the Solaris grape variety. The motif features a sun – a reference to the grape variety – and a bass guitar, reminiscent of his decades-long career as a musician. This limited edition connects the winery's regional viticulture in Northern Germany with international pop culture.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 works by Voormann, including album covers, lithographs, magazine titles, a graphic novel, and several original works. In addition to the graphic creations, it also addresses the close connection of the two-time Grammy winner to the Beatles. Whether the 88-year-old Klaus Voormann himself will attend the exhibition opening remains uncertain.
