On April 25 and 26, 2026, the German Wine Institute (DWI) invites you to the 16th nationwide "Wine Hiking Weekend". Over 100 guided thematic hikes are available in almost all German growing regions.
Expert and local wine guides will lead the diverse tours. The offerings in the Palatinate range from the "Meditative Wine Walk" in Hainfeld to the experiential hike "With Wine and GPS through the Vineyards of Forst". In Saxony, interested parties can discover unknown culinary and medicinal herbs in the vineyards of Meißen. The wine hike on the Michaelsberg in Württemberg offers a magnificent view over the landscape. On April 26, the "Royal Wine Hike" with the German Wine Queen Anna Zenz will take place on the Middle Rhine.
All offers are compiled in the online event calendar of the DWI. Since participant numbers are limited for many events, early registration is recommended.
