Wine&Spirits Ukraine - the country's most important wine fair - is to take place from 29 to 31 March at the exhibition centre Kyiv, reports the Italian online magazine winemag.it. For security reasons, no international producers will be represented, but the organisers expect more than 70 exhibitors and around 3,000 visitors. All participants in the fair will find space in the underground shelter of the exhibition centre in case of air raids.

As the organisers of the fair say, "The decision to hold the fair during the war was not easy for them, but business must function, the economy must go on. Ukrainian wines must be presented in all the shops and restaurants of the world, but especially in those of Ukraine." In Kyiv alone, more than 100 new restaurants are said to have opened during the war.
