On 18th and 19th September 2020 the 133rd Prädikatswein auction and the 2nd auction of the VDP.Grosse Gewächse will take place in the FourSide Plaza Hotel Trier. This is announced by the association GROSSER RING VDP.Mosel-Saar-Ruwer.
According to the press release, a total of 952 bottles of VDP.Grosse Gewächse and 11,949 bottles of Prädikatswein will be auctioned off. The presentation of the wines will take place on Thursday, September 17th, and the auction itself on Friday, September 18th.
As the individual parts of the event can only be made accessible to a small public due to the currently valid hygiene regulations because of the Corona Pandemic, the auction of the VDP.Mosel-Saar-Ruwer will be transmitted via live stream on the YouTube channel "VDP Weingueter". Bids can be submitted to all authorised wine commissioners, the participating wineries or to the VDP.Mosel office; further information is available on the Internet at www.vdp-mosel.de or www.vdp.de.
Also this year the GROSSE RING will auction a charity wine box during the event, this time in favour of the Family Centre Fidibus in Trier.
