The organisers of the wine fair "Wein am Dom" in Speyer are satisfied: Ten days before the start of the event on 1 April at 12.30 pm, more than 1100 tickets have already been sold, according to the Pfalzwein e.V. and the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Agriculture. Among them were orders from Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. according to the organisers' figures, die Güter served around 1,000 wines, including 483 wines from the 2016 vintage. 142 wines and 18 sparkling wines were produced from Pinot Blanc, the "Grape Variety of the Year" in the Palatinate.

In the evening, the "Wine Grooves" party with DJ and culinary delights will start at "Philipp Eins". On both days, Speyer's cultural and wine ambassadors will be offering guests guided wine tours of the surrounding area. Furthermore, beginners can learn how to taste wines under guidance on both days.

Wine at the Cathedral" is open on Saturday, 1 April from 1 to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, 2 April from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. The day ticket costs 25 euros, admission for both days is 39 euros. The price includes tasting of the wines and sparkling wines, the fair catalogue as well as travel to and from the fair by public transport operated by the Rhine-Neckar Transport Authority (VRN).
