The traditional vintage presentations in Tuscany have been postponed from February to 14-21 May 2021 due to the corona pandemic. This is reported by the "Weinwirtschaft". The regional associations have also decided that the Benvenuto Brunello in Montalcino will not close the Tuscan week as usual, but this time the two-day Chianti Classico Collection in Florence. Fewer guests will be invited to the presentations in May due to hygiene rules. Sommeliers will receive personal tastings with individual service.
The Umbria wine region plans to link its "Anteprima" presentation of Sagrantino di Montefalco directly to the Tuscany tastings. The Nebbiolo Prima of Piedmont, on the other hand, will be cancelled and replaced by online events.
