Due to the pandemic, the VieVinum in Wien has been postponed by one year to 11-13 June 2022. According to organiser M.A.C. Hoffmann, those responsible, together with ÖWM, "believed in holding the event until the very end and worked with unbroken intensity and effort on several variants in order to provide a market impetus for the Austrian wine industry within the framework of the necessary safety requirements". The "given circumstances in connection with the continuing dynamic entry regulations and the associated planning uncertainty do not allow for an immediate implementation," M.A.C. Hoffmann informed.
