The organizers of VieVinum, Austria's largest wine fair, have launched a new event format with the "VieVinum Future Academy". The first of these one-day events on February 17 will focus on "Low&Zero", meaning low-alcohol and alcohol-free wine alternatives. In addition to a classic table tasting for consumers, expert lectures, masterclasses, and public discussions will highlight current developments and future outlooks. Topics include "Sense and Opportunities of Alcohol-Free Wine", "Latest Technologies for De-Alcoholization", a market outlook, and developments in fermentation products. So far, 22 exhibitors have registered.
Alongside this, the first "Austrian Zero Award", which is claimed to be the largest tasting award for alcohol-free beverages in the German-speaking region, will take place and the winners will be presented at the event. Submissions are still possible until January 26.
The VieVinum Future Academy "Low&Zero" will take place on February 17 in the Apothekertrakt at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. Tickets in three categories are now available.
