The Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP) will be represented for the first time with a joint stand at the trade fair Wine Paris in 2026. From February 9 to 11, 25 VDP wineries will present a representative cross-section from nearly all VDP regions in Hall 6 (International Hall). The aim is to provide an overview of the stylistic diversity of German top wines.
The focus of the trade fair appearance will be on three topics particularly relevant to an international audience: Riesling and origin, Spätburgunder between terroir and signature, and VDP sparkling wine from traditional bottle fermentation. For each topic, the VDP will offer a guided walk-through tasting, complemented by a tasting sheet for individual discoveries.
Thus, the association aims to promote direct exchange with trade visitors about origin, style, vintages, and craftsmanship. Appointments and discussions can be arranged in advance through the official matchmaking tool of Wine Paris or directly with the VDP.
