On Saturday, 27 May, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., guests of the Loisium WeinErlebnisWelt & Vinothek in Langenlois, Austria, will be able to taste around 160 wines from 40 businesses in Lower Austria and some producers from the Palatinate region at the first underground wine fair.

The fair takes place in the 900-year-old cellar labyrinth with 1.5 kilometres of corridors, which are up to nine metres deep below the surface. The tasting will take place from Zalto glasses. In addition, there will be a wide range of culinary delights from vintner antipasti to freshly prepared Loisium Burger. After the trade fair is over, there is a bottle party in the underground basilica. The "vinophile spectacle" between 7 and 10 pm with DJ offers a live saxophone performance by SaxoBen as well as a mysterious surprise show act.

Since the opening of the Loisium-Wine Adventure World & Vinotheque in 2003, Langenlois has developed into one of the most popular pleasure meeting places in Lower Austria with about 60,000 visitors annually.

Tickets for the wine fair are available in advance for 29 euros and at the box office for 33 euros per person. Admission to the bottle party and the interactive wine tour through the cellar labyrinth are included in the ticket price. Single tickets for the party are available for 9 Euro per person. Admission is possible from 18 years of age.
