On April 27 and 28, 2025, the 'Biodynamic Wine Fair' invites wine professionals to the Old Post Warehouse in Mainz for the second time. More than 70 biodynamic wineries from Europe and overseas will showcase their wines. Wine professionals from trade and gastronomy can now order their trade fair ticket for 10 euros online.

The exhibitors come from Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, and Chile. Among them are well-known names like Alois Lageder, Heitlinger, Burg Ravensburg, Wimmer-Czerny, and Avignonesi. Many young wineries will also present their wines.

The fair's supporting program offers several expert lectures: On the first day of the fair at 4 PM, the former 'Best Young Chef in the World', Marianus von Hörsten, will speak about sustainable cuisine. On the second day at 12 PM, biodynamic consultant Dr. Georg Meissner, lecturer at Geisenheim University and winemaker in Roussillon, will inform about current findings in biodynamic viticulture. At 3 PM, Jo Pfisterer, oenologist at the South Tyrolean winery Alois Lageder, will explain his approach to biodynamic wine production.

The organizers of the 'Biodynamic Wine Fair' are the associations Demeter, Biodyvin, and Respekt-Biodyn. For the premiere of the fair last year with 68 exhibitors, around 260 international trade visitors came to Mainz.

This year's 'Biodynamic Wine Fair' is open on Sunday, April 27 from 1 PM to 7 PM and on Monday, April 28 from 10 AM to 5 PM. The Old Post Warehouse at Mombacher Straße 11–15 is located directly behind Mainz Central Station. Interested parties can find more information about the fair at demeter.de/biodynamicwinefair.
