The wine and spirits distributor Schlumberger in Meckenheim is restructuring its management level. The person responsible for purchasing, Moritz Lüke, and the national sales manager, Philipp Gericke, are moving to Wein Wolf. Elke Deckert (Marketing) is also leaving the company. Madeleine Jendryssek from Düsseldorf (purchasing/marketing) as well as whisky expert Thomas Plaue, who moved from Diageo to Meckenheim, are new to Schlumberger. At the end of 2020, the sales expert Edmundo Götzelmann as well as the sales coordinator Thorsten Kiss had already joined there.

Schlumberger said it had ended the 2020 financial year with "adequate growth", without giving more precise figures. "Despite the strong revenue losses of several million euros in gastronomy and specialist wholesaling, we (...) were also able to achieve slight growth in 2020. The precise orientation towards further target customer groups, the optimisation of the product range as well as the further development of internal processes have been important cornerstones here," Rudolf Knickenberg explained in a company statement.
