The Château Beauséjour Héritiers Duffau-Lagarrosse in St. Emilion, classified as Grand Cru Classé B, with 6.75 ha of vineyards, has been sold for 75 million euros. This was announced by the French cadastral authority SAFER. The buyer is the 30-year-old agricultural engineer and vintner Joséphine Duffau-Lagarrosse, the daughter of the current co-manager Vincent Duffau-Lagarosse. Another partner will be the Courtin family, owners of the cosmetics company Clarins.
Four bids were received in response to the call for bids to buy the property, SAFER said in a statement.
