The Italian wine company Santa Margherita has acquired another winery in the USA. In 2022, the Marzotto family had already purchased the Roco Winery, founded in 2003, in Oregon. Now, they are further expanding their US business.

Marsh Estate is located in Yamhill-Carlton and encompasses 21 acres of vineyards, forests, and a residence. Currently, only grapes are being produced there; nothing is being bottled. The acquisition of Marsh Estate is described by the company as "strategic" to expand the production of Pinot Noir and sparkling wines under the Roco brand.

"This further acquisition reinforces our belief in the potential of the Willamette Valley and wine production in Oregon in general," explains Andrea Conzonato, CEO of Santa Margherita. According to Conzonato, this investment aims to qualitatively and quantitatively enhance the wine production of the Roco Winery. Currently, around 180,000 bottles are produced.
