Ralf Frenzel, publisher of the Wiesbaden-based TreTorri publishing house and owner of the communications agency CPA!, is taking a stake in the VDP Wegeler wineries (Rheingau and Mosel) as well as the Krone winery in Assmannshausen. According to the press release, the owners Anja Wegeler-Drieseberg and Dr. Tom Drieseberg have agreed on an "operative and strategic partnership in the management of the wineries" with Frenzel. In the future, they want to be "jointly responsible for the management of the wineries". The goal and vision of the partnership is "to further enhance the historical, viticultural treasure of the two estates with expanded expertise and to lead them into a successful future in times of rapidly changing challenges in sales, marketing and PR". To this end, Ralf Frenzel has acquired shares in the wineries. The amount of the shareholding is not known.
