The Spanish organic winery Raimat in Catalonia wants to have its 700 hectares of vineyards designated as a nature reserve. In the vineyard region with a lake, a great variety of animals and birds has been able to develop in recent years, according to a statement from Raimat. The combination of nature conservation and wine tourism destination is so far unique in Europe. "Raimat Natura" is to be opened in 2021 and will cost visitors no entrance fees.
