As planned, ProWein is to take place as a presence event from 27 to 29 March 2022. After a two-year break due to the pandemic, Messe Düsseldorf is once again opening its doors to visitors from all over the world. According to a Messe Düsseldorf statement, around 5,500 exhibitors are currently expected. In order to comply with the distance regulations, the fair will be extended by three to a total of 13 exhibition halls. The previous division according to countries and regions is to be retained. Italian exhibitors will be in Halls 15 to 17, French companies in Halls 9 to 11. The German regions with around 800 exhibitors will find space in Halls 1, 4 and 5 to present their products. The organic section with the international organic associations and individual exhibitors will also be located there. Austria will exhibit in Hall 5, Portugal in Hall 13, Spain in Halls 13 and 14. Hall 12 is reserved for overseas producers, while the focus in Hall 11 is on spirits.

"We receive very positive feedback from our worldwide exhibitors and our visitors. After two years, the industry's desire to meet in person, to network, to taste - and of course to order is extremely strong," says Bastian Mingers, Project Director of ProWein.

The ticket shop will go online in mid-December. Day tickets at a price of 50 euros will be available exclusively there. The fair points out that there will be no ticket sales at the counter in 2022.
