The Düsseldorf trade fair company has now cancelled ProWein 2021 due to the corona pandemic. "The current Covid 19 infection, the travel situation and the legal framework have prompted the organisers to reassess the situation," a press release says.
For those responsible at ProWein the timing of the decision played a very important role: "Exhibitors can now focus their attention on the next ProWein event and gear their preparations accordingly. In this way we can guarantee the planning security that is essential for successful business" At the same time the organisers have already fixed the ProWein date 2022: The fair is to open its doors from 27 to 29 March 2022.
Nevertheless, the trade fair company has not cancelled all of its international wine fairs: the next ProWine Asia - renamed ProWine Hong Kong - will take place from 18 to 21 May 2021. The exhibition company also plans to open ProWine Shanghai at the New International Expo Center from 9 to 11 November 2021.
