The organizers of the industry fair Eurovino last weekend are satisfied with the results. According to Britta Wirtz, managing director of Messe Karlsruhe, the number of exhibitors and visitors has increased compared to the premiere in 2024. However, the fair management did not disclose specific visitor numbers. 93 percent of guests plan to participate next year, according to Wirtz, and many exhibitors have already confirmed their stands for 2026. A total of 432 exhibitors presented their products and used the fair for networking and acquiring new customers. In 2024, there were around 300 exhibiting companies.

Federal Minister of Agriculture Cem Özdemir also visited the fair as the patron. He addressed the challenges facing the industry, including declining sales and changing consumer habits. "Wine growing in Germany is an important economic factor. However, rising costs, changing consumer habits, and the consequences of the climate crisis are putting pressure on Germany's winemakers. We support them in these challenges," said Özdemir during his tour.

The next Eurovino will take place on March 1 and 2, 2026.
