The Consortium DOC Delle Venezie has published positive figures for 2024. The Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie recorded a three percent increase in bottling volume (1.7 million hl) and an eight percent rise in DOC certifications. "The increase in bottling volume clearly shows how the Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie meets consumer needs," emphasizes Stefano Sequino, director of the consortium.

Due to its high quality standards, a strict control system, and the fresh, moderate style of the wines, the appellation maintains its leading role for Pinot Grigio in international trade.

Certifications for the state control seals of the bottles also reached a record high: the monthly average rose from 134,420 hectoliters in 2023 to 146,112 hectoliters in 2024. "This growth shows the stable demand as well as the successful production planning of our members. The supply management strategies contribute significantly to market stability, which is of great value to our producers and markets," said Sequino.

The DOC Delle Venezie appellation is regional and includes Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and the autonomous province of Trento. Approximately 230 million bottles are produced annually.
