Pommery is bringing two limited Pride editions of its POP Pink Rosé champagne to the market in Germany. The first variant with the classic rainbow flag is now available, while a second one designed with the Progress Pride flag is set to follow in September 2026. For each sold 20-cl bottle, the company donates 50 cents to CSD Deutschland e.V. CSD Deutschland is the umbrella organization of the German Pride movement. According to its own statements, it represents more than 140 of the approximately 240 Christopher Street Days in Germany. The donations from the sales are intended to support the nationwide work of the association for equality and for the interests of the LSBTIQ* community.
"For us, it was clear from the beginning that a Pride edition could only be implemented together with a partner who knows the community and represents its interests. Together with CSD Deutschland e.V., we want to set a sign for diversity and respect while also supporting the important work of the association," explained Thomas Wirz, Managing Director of Vranken-Pommery Germany and Austria. Britta Helfrich from the board of CSD Deutschland referred to the connection between the fight for queer rights and the struggle of women for recognition and independence.
The rosé champagne comes in a 20-cl small bottle. Pommery lists a non-binding price recommendation of 19.99 euros.
