Le Famiglie Storiche was founded in 2009 by the merger of ten long-established producers of the Valpolicella region and today comprises 13 members. They are all world-renowned, have been active for several generations and are committed to the quality, history and craftsmanship of Amarone. The members are the wineries Allegrini, Begali, Brigaldara, Guerrieri Rizzardi, Masi **, Musella ***, Speri, Tedeschi, Tenuta Sant'Antonio, Tommasi, Torre D'Orti, Venturini and Zenato ***.

According to their own statements, their efforts are aimed at making known and protecting not only their own wines, but also Valpolicella, one of the most famous wine-growing areas in Italy.
