Burgundy's Domaine Romanée-Conti has appointed Perrine Fenal as its new co-director alongside Aubert de Villaine. The position had become vacant when the previous co-director Henri-Frédéric Roch died last year at the age of only 56.

Perrine Fenal is the daughter of the well-known estate owner Lalou Bize-Leroy, who is co-owner of Romanée-Conti and was active there as managing director from 1974 to 1992. Fenal lives with her family in Geneva and has not played a role in the wine industry so far. She has known Aubert de Villaine since she was born.
