The International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) will have its permanent seat in Dijon in the future. This was decided unanimously by the 48 member states of the organisation at their general assembly. The OIV Secretariat is scheduled to move from Paris to the Burgundian capital in September 2022. The President of the OIV, Luigi Moio, welcomed the decision to give the Organisation a location suitable for its activities. The city of Dijon will immediately start renovating the Hotel Bouchu d'Esterno, which will house the OIV's new headquarters.
