The cork producer Nomacorc has announced a wine closure made from grape marc. It is to become part of the environmentally friendly "Green Line" closure series, go into serial production from next year and be presented at the Vinitech trade fair in Bordeaux. According to the manufacturer, the certified CO2 footprint is zero. Other closures in the series are already being produced on the basis of cane sugar.
