Nikolas von Haugwitz is no longer chairman of the wine trading company Hawesko in Hamburg. This was announced by the company. According to the statement of the chairman of the supervisory board, Detlev Meyer, von Haugwitz is leaving the holding company of the listed trading group "by mutual agreement". The background is "a reorientation in the management structure", with which the holding company will in future manage with three instead of four members of the board of directors. Previously, von Haugwitz, who joined Hawesko in 2003, was responsible for e-commerce. CEO Thorsten Hermelink will now take over this responsibility alongside corporate strategy and distribution.

The Hawesko Group includes Jacques' Wein-Depot, WirWinzer, the Austrian chain Wein & Co, Wein Wolf and Vinos, Carl Tesdorpf in Lübeck, Viniversität Die Weinschule and several other trading subsidiaries.
