Only a few months after the takeover of the Austrian wine retail chain Wein & Co by Hamburg-based Hawesko AG, a new management team has started work: According to a report in the "Weinwirtschaft", Karsten Kamrath has taken over the management of the wine merchant as Chairman of the Management Board.
Kamrath has 25 years of trading experience and is an omnichannel specialist, according to a report to the "Weinwirtschaft".
Wolfgang Frühbauer, who is responsible for finance, logistics and personnel, and Paul Truszkowski, who joined Wein&Co in the summer of 2018 and was responsible for purchasing, sales, marketing and e-commerce, have also left the management board. It is not yet known who will follow them.
