Geisenheim University is expanding its range of distance learning courses for the wine industry. From the coming summer semester, it will be offering two new certificate courses together with the Centre for Distance Learning in Higher Education (zfh). The course "Viticulture and Oenology" combines the modules "Innovative Strategies in Viticulture" and "Wine Sensory and World Viticulture", the course "Marketing in the Wine Industry" the modules "Marketing Management" and "Logistics and Distribution of Wine". The contents are borrowed from the part-time Geisenheim MBA course "Management in the Wine Industry" and are offered in a flexible distance learning concept.

This means that four part-time courses can now be taken. The courses "Management in the Wine Industry" and "Finance, Controlling and Taxes" have already been available since the winter semester 2022/2023. All courses conclude with the recognised Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS).

Participants can flexibly plan the duration of the individual courses according to their availability and needs. Admission requirements for all CAS courses are a first academic degree and three years of professional experience, but these do not have to be relevant.

Detailed information on the courses is available online. Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences also offers personal counselling sessions.
