The "wine regions" category of the room rental app AirBnB, which will be launched worldwide in spring 2022, is becoming increasingly popular. Currently, more than 120,000 wine-related accommodations can be found on the online platform. According to AirBnB data, accommodation in the Balearic Islands (Spain) is particularly popular in Europe, followed by the Spanish region of Catalonia and Tuscany. Andalusia (Spain) is in fourth place, followed by Provence (France), Aquitaine (France), Burgundy (France), the Canary Islands (Spain), Veneto (Italy) and the Rhône (France). With the introduction of the category, AirBnB takes into account the growing interest in wine tourism offers.
