The tasting event "Mythos Mosel. A Riesling Journey" invites you to the wineries after a two-year break from 10 to 12 June 2022. The event, which attracts thousands of visitors, is being organised by the MoselJünger young winemakers' association for the seventh time. This year's tour leads through the centre of the Middle Moselle from Detzem to Wintrich. At 30 stops along a route of around 25 kilometres, guests can expect a wide selection of wines from 30 host wineries and around 90 other businesses. In addition, visitors can expect menu evenings, festivals and concerts.
Among them are wineries such as Nik Weis at St. Urbans-Hof in Leiwen, Grans-Fassian or Clüsserath-Weiler in Trittenheim. But Schloss Lieser, Fritz Haag, Markus Molitor and Selbach-Oster will also be represented with their wines, as will lesser-known young winemakers. The aim of the event is to be a platform for young talent, emphasised Matthias Meierer, initiator of the event and spokesman for the organising team.
A bus service will be set up between the locations from Detzem to Wintrich, allowing visitors to move between the wineries. The opening event with top chef Kolja Kleeberg will take place on 10 June on board the ship "Princess Marie-Astrid" on the Moselle. The event is open to Riesling lovers from all over the world. Tickets will be available from 1 May via www.mythos-mosel.de and also at the stations.
