The Burgundian négociant Louis Jadot bought one of the most prestigious properties of the Santenay. He takes over Domaine Prieur-Brunet in Santenay-Le-Haut with 18 hectares of vineyards, including well-known premier cru sites such as Maladière and Clos Faubard.

Prieur-Brunet also includes Premier and Grand Cru sites in Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. The estate was owned by the Prieur family for over 200 years. Nothing is known about the reasons for the sale and the purchase price.
