The wine brand of Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue has sold more than 27 million bottles worldwide in the six years since its founding. This was announced by the company Kylie Minogue Wines on the occasion of the launch of a streaming documentary series, reports the trade magazine Drinks Business.
The range includes nine wines and is distributed in 36 countries. This includes products with little or no alcohol. In the United Kingdom, the Kylie Minogue Signature Rosé is now the best-selling brand in the premium rosé segment. The Kylie Minogue Prosecco Rosé leads the Prosecco rosé brands with 31 percent; the next competitor comes in at just over 21 percent.
Kylie Minogue Wines is also the best-selling brand in the United Kingdom for non-alcoholic and reduced-alcohol premium sparkling wines. In the past two years, its products have accounted for 44 percent of the growth in this category. The company recently expanded its sparkling wine range with a Prosecco Blanc.
The singer not only lends her name to the wines but is also involved in product development and has personally attended trade fairs such as ProWein and Wine Paris.
