For the first time since 1983, Krug has brought a rosé champagne of the Grande Cuvée category to the market. Krug Rosé "21ème Édition" consists of 51 percent Pinot Noir, 41 percent Chardonnay and eight percent Pinot Meunier.
According to Krug, the vintages are mainly from the 2008 vintage, with some Réserve wines also from years up to 2000. The Pinot Noir base wines come from sites in Ambonnay, Mareuil-sur-Ay and Ay. The Krug Rosé usually costs just under 250 euros in the trade.
