The German viticulture president Klaus Schneider from Dirmstein has been elected as the new chairman of the Pfälzer Gebietsweinwerbung Pfalzwein e. V. In a board meeting he was unanimously elected for three years. Boris Kranz from Ilbesheim was also elected without any dissenting votes as deputy
Schneider and Kranz thus replace the previous chairmen Edwin Schrank and District Administrator Theresia Riedmaier. Both had jointly steered the work of the Palatinate Wine Advertising Organisation since 1999
Pfalzwein is organizing the event under the slogan "Zum Wohl. The Palatinate" the promotion of the region and its wines.
