The large Spanish cava and wine producer Raventós-Codorníu is making a stranger to the industry a managing director: The company's new CEO will be Sergio Fuster from Valencia, previously Chief Marketing Officer of The Kellogg Company. The manager previously worked for companies such as Procter & Gamble and Danone. He is scheduled to take office in September. Fuster replaces the current CEO Ramón Raventós, who will remain with the company as Director of Business Development.
Raventós Codorníu is one of Spain's largest producers with a vineyard area of around 3,000 hectares. The group of companies also includes wineries in Argentina and California. Since 2018, the main shareholder is the American investor Carlyle Group.
