The Californian winery Grace Family Vineyards, producer of the famous Cabernet Sauvignon of the same name, has been sold at an unknown price to management consultant Kathryn Green, together with a Victorian estate and 1.2 hectares of vineyards.

The new owner bought an area of 400 olive trees in the Napa Valley in 2009 and has been growing grapes there since 2014. In 2014 she also acquired a property in St. Helena with a vineyard, whose grapes she also sells.

Ann and Dick Grace want to retire from the wine business. In 1976 they began to plant a Cabernet vineyard on the property next to their home. They had the grapes processed by the renowned Caymus winery, and since 1982 the wine, soon to be known as "cult Cabernet", has appeared under their own brand. Currently, production is just under 8,000 bottles a year, which are traded at prices between 120 and 500 dollars. The winemaking team is to continue working.
