The listed company Italian Wine Brands takes over 100 percent of Enoitalia, Italy's largest private wine giant, based in Calmasino near Verona. The Enoitalia group was previously owned by the Pizzolo family and sold 111 million bottles worth 200 million euros last year. Thus, it is one of the ten companies with the highest turnover in the wine business in Italy. The purchase price is not known. In return, the Enotalia owner family Pizzolo invests 1.4 million euros in ordinary shares of Italian Wine Brands. The merger of the two companies will create the largest private Italian wine colossus with a total turnover of 405 million euros.
