The famous American film director Ridley Scott has presented the first wine from his newly built Mas des Infermières estate with 20 ha of vineyards in the AOC Luberon. He has owned the estate since 1992 and the 2,200 square metre wine production facility was built and equipped in 2020. This could produce up to 2,500 hl of wine in the future. His first cuvée of Grenache and Syrah is to cost about 15 euros per bottle.
The director is known worldwide for his films "Thelma and Louise", "Alien", "Gladiator" and "Blade Runner".
