The well-known winemaker Heiner Maleton has been working for the Rhine-Hessian VDP-Winery Gunderloch since June 1st. He is supporting plant manager Johannes Hasselbach and will fill Agnes Hasselbach-Usinger's position when she retires. Maleton had previously worked for the VDP operations Reichsrat von Buhl, Theo Minges and Biffar as well as for the Mannheim wine store Extraprima. Between 2010 and 2017, he worked as operations manager at the Carl Koch winery in Rhine-Hesse, and from 2018 he managed the Liebfrauenstift winery in Worms, owned by Katharina Prüm and Wilhelm Steifensand.

Maleton intends to concentrate on the work in the cellar and administration at Gunderloch.
