The large Austrian winery Lenz Moser has built a new pressing house for 4.8 million euros. This will enable the processing of around four million kilograms of grapes per harvest season. So far, 2.9 million kilos have been pressed. According to the company, the new building can process up to 250,000 kilograms per day at peak times. In addition, the tank capacity has also been expanded by 450,000 litres. A tubular cooler also ensures stable cooling of the white wine mash at a temperature of seven degrees. The building, which was constructed in 2018 and whose interior is now ready for operation, was designed in such a way that it can be expanded at any time, according to a press release.
