The port house Graham's offers a Tawny Port from the year 1950 for sale. The Master 1950 Single Harvest Tawny Port was filled in October and will be available soon. In the economic crisis after the Second World War, the cost of prolonged wine ageing could hardly be justified, so only a few casks were made available for this purpose. Half has now been bottled from the last remaining barrel. Head winemaker Charles Symington says: "It's quite extraordinary that this wine is still so complex and balanced after 70 years."

Graham's also has a 1974 and a 1994 Single Harvest Tawny Port in its "The Cellar Master's Trilogy" series. The 1950 replaces the 1940, whose bottles from the last cask have already been sold.
