The Federal Government wants to extend the Corona Lockdown in Germany until the Easter holidays. Hotels and restaurants will also remain closed without any concrete prospect of opening. According to the Dehoga information service "Tageskarte", a draft resolution of the Chancellor's Office states: "Further opening steps and the perspective for the sectors not yet named here from the gastronomy, culture, events, travel and hotel sectors will be discussed in the light of the infection situation, taking into account the test strategy that has been started, vaccination, the spread of virus mutants and other influencing factors at the next meeting of the Federal Chancellor with the heads of government of the federal states." The meeting is scheduled for 24 March 2021. Only outdoor catering would be discussed for a fourth opening step. Here, too, the opening perspective remains unclear. The paper only states that the "7-day incidence must remain stable at below 35 new infections nationwide or regionally for 14 days after the third opening step comes into force".
