"Flood wine" campaign achieves 4.4 million euros for damaged Ahr winegrowers

The crowdfunding campaign #flutwein for the reconstruction of the wine-growing region Ahr will be continued. This was announced by the initiators Peter Kriechel, Linda Kleber and Daniel Koller. The decisive factor is the surprising success and the high demand of the about 47,000 supporters so far. According to the press release, more than 4.4 million euros in donations were collected in the first project phase. The campaign is thus considered the most successful crowdfunding campaign in the German-speaking world to date. Over 200,000 bottles from 28 Ahr vintners have already been packed into 60,000 packages and are to be delivered before Christmas. Since there are still some remaining stocks, interested parties can support the project again and order bottles from now until 10 December.
