The Italian sparkling wine producer Ferrari Trento has signed a sponsorship agreement with the organisers of Formula 1 for the next three seasons. Traditionally, champagne was served there for many years.
The president and CEO of Ferrari Trento, Matteo Lunelli, announced in a press conference that the announced partnership was "an amazing adventure" for him. One of the company's expectations of the increased global presence, he said, was to double sales in the long term. "The next generation of the family will look back and see this as a milestone," he said. He did not disclose further details of the deal. He only explained that the sparkling wine for Formula 1 would be a Blanc de Blancs, served in jeroboam (3l) with a specially designed label.
