Following the withdrawal of the cooperative associations from the German Winegrowers' Association (wein.plus reported), DWV Vice President Henning Seibert has now also resigned. He is chairman of the board and managing director of the Moselland winegrowers' cooperative and was elected to this position in August 2020. According to a report in "Weinwirtschaft", he and his colleagues now want to organise their own representation of interests. Seibert, however, wants to continue to cooperate with the winegrowers' association "in matters of fertilisation and plant protection, but also in matters of cellar technology".
